Recovery in real life

I attempt to figure out everyday what a recovered person "looks like."  Is there a certain weight that one should maintain, should someone have conquered previous off limit foods, or perhaps most importantly, no longer have the mindset of an eating disordered person.

The more I talk to "recovered people," the more I see these traits.  What I can say that I have learned is that recovery is a process.  There doesn't appear to be a timeframe that we can put on it, and there are independent factors influencing one's recovery.

Over time, I hope to chronicle my opinions on recovery, eating disorders and real life.  Join me.

I also invite you to check out my recovery website at  http://edrsweb.org
